  1. @Netflix not bec louis partridge worked as tewksbury in Enola does it mean that u cast him in every bloody period drama for God's sake he looks too young here
Also!! Very similar themes!! So u can't!!

  2. I’m looking forward to watching it, not sure about this actor for Mr. Darcy though (my favorite will be always Matthew MacFayden in this role) and this Elizabeth Bennet looks a bit older as many people observed here, but just to have Olivia Colman as Mrs. Bennett is a win and also just the fact that is a serie, it’s giving me the vibes of the 2005 movie 🍿 ❤👒

  3. I have to admit..at the end when she says "It's really so beautiful." And he looks at her, kinda sold me 😅 I felt something in my heart pull

It is weird having a blonde Darcy, but generally I give a lot of leeway to adaptions, specially something like pride and prejudice that has been adapted so many times over and over the years, the 1995 one is always going to be my fav, but I'm keeping an open mind for this

I know we've all been burned before, not just with Netflix's persuasion, but a lot of adoptions of classic the last few years but I am willing to give a lot of leeway to this just because pride and prejudice has been redone so many times, I think there's more breath for changes as long as it keeps within the spirit of the story
