LYRICS:
Well you know she is the man
Got a boyfriend in Japan
And he’s better than his word
Or at least that’s what I heard
When they fuck she leaves her body for a while
And she pays for all his shit
Til he says thanks without a smile
And his car is in the yard
He pretends it doesn’t start
But she sees into his heart
And the station ain’t that far
On the corner drops him
Weeping like a child
He says thanks for the no promises
I appreciate your style

Why’d you go and make it real?
Why’d you go and make it real?
Why’d you go and make it real?
Why’d you go?

Well you know she is the man
Got a boyfriend in Japan
And he’s better than his word
Or at least that’s what I heard
When they fuck she leaves her body for a while
And she pays for all his shit
Til he says thanks without a smile

Ah ah ah
What a turn to take
Ah ah ah
How about you babe
Yeah

Why’d you go and make it real?
Why’d you go and make it real?
Why’d you go and make it real?
Why’d you go?

Well you know she is the man
Got a boyfriend in Japan
And he’s better than his word
Or at least that’s what I heard
When they fuck she leaves her body for a while
And she pays for all his shit
Til he says thanks without a smile

  1. I'm hype-phobic so have refused to be taken in by this band! However, this is very pretty as have been the other singles released so far from the album. I think I'm about to surrender!

  2. I'm reading the comments on the new album… there are obviously a lot of musical influences… for me, that's intentional, it's a tribute, as if to say they're following in the footsteps of legendary brit bands… I think it's to their credit because they're preserving their identity despite everything… this album is a banger
