Fix the console controls please!! I just wanna be able to put down a path without having to go through a whole process. The simplest things shouldnt be some of the most complicated to do. Also maybe its a bug idk but the cursor on console seems to just randomly disappear and the only way to get it back is to select a tab and back out of it…. I like the game and the whole idea of it but i hate the complexity of the console controls. It was obviously ment to be played with mouse and keyboard cause control takes way more effort just to complete some of the simplest tasks.

Planet Zoo 2 is an absolutely beautiful game, and I genuinely love it! 🦒❤️
I've already played 13.4 hours since release, but unfortunately, the constant crashes are becoming extremely frustrating.
I'm playing on Linux Mint via Steam Proton with an NVIDIA RTX 5080.
The game usually runs perfectly fine for about 15 minutes. After that, it frequently freezes when switching between menus, especially Research, Management, Zoopedia, and the Animal Trading Centre in Franchise Mode.
Sometimes the game gets stuck on the green giraffe-patterned loading screen, and I have to force-stop it through Steam and restart it.
Interestingly, manually saving my franchise zoo seems to delay the crashes, but it doesn't prevent them.
Planet Zoo 1 and Planet Coaster 2 work perfectly fine on the same system and Proton version.
I understand that Linux isn't officially supported, but I really hope these stability issues can be investigated.
I love the game and just want to enjoy building my zoo without having to restart every 15 minutes! 🐾

Finally, the day has arrived – October 13th is here! 🥳 🎮 Yesterday, I could barely wrap my head around the fact that I was actually getting to play it. My birthday is on November 13th, but honestly, I was way more excited for October 13th this year! 😂
I am so unbelievably hyped – what an incredible game! I put over 1,500 hours into the first Planet Zoo, and this one is already a total comfort game for me. ❤️ 🐘
The graphics, the design, how smoothly the animals move, and the way they interact with all the enrichment items… it looks absolutely amazing! 😍 And all the new building materials? I’m completely overwhelmed!
A massive highlight for me: WE FINALLY HAVE RABBITS! 🐰 🌾 Rabbits are among my absolute favorite animals alongside dogs (and well, dogs don't really fit into a zoo setting 😉). I wished for them so badly in Planet Zoo 1, so I’m over the moon! Hopefully, future DLCs will bring even more rabbit species!
Also, having aquariums now is so cool 🌊 🐬 Who knows, maybe we’ll even get whales or dolphins like Orcas somewhere down the line?
This game easily gets 10,000 out of 10 points from me! 💯 I’m going to be gaming non-stop now, from dawn till dusk! 🚀 🎮 ✨

Oh God… You guys need to add more character creator options! It's not that important… but kind of? No black hair options in 2026? At least give us a fade option if not some dreads! Get on that stat, I don't like looking like some tanned white guy!
Congrats, Frontier on getting Planet Zoo 2 over the finish line! I'm looking forward to playing this with my daughter. Her favorite animal is the Red Panda!
